At the Graduate School at the Faculty of Education at Kagawa University, we aim to provide teachers with the highest level of practical and theoretical knowledge for teaching at schools in Japan.

Japanese schools currently face a wide variety of issues, while at the same time also naturally being places full of aspiration. In order to meet these requirements, there is an urgent need for teachers trained as highly qualified specialists with a broad range of practical abilities and theoretical knowledge.

At the Graduate School, we focus on each year of school education as the basis to work from, and aim to provide detailed and up-to-date knowledge of and skills related to the pedagogy and materials needed to produce better curricula for use in a strengthened liaison with schools. We hope to train educational specialists who will take leading roles in their schools in the future and also contribute to their local communities and their cultures as well.
