Faculty of Education
History

The Faculty of Education was first established as the Faculty of Liberal Arts in 1949 after the merging of three schools to create Kagawa University. The Faculty of Liberal Arts originated from the Kagawa Normal School (founded in 1874), which was one of the three schools to merge. After a reorganization in 1966, the faculty changed its name from the Faculty of Liberal Arts to the Faculty of Education.
